For the isolation of non-sporing anaerobes from clinical material.
Suitable for use with LAB 90 Fastidious Anaerobe Agar. When used with other blood agar bases, e.g. LAB 1 Columbia Agar, further
enrichment of the medium with haemin, menadione and sodium pyruvate is beneficial. The addition of Tween® 80, which, enhances the growth of anaerobic cocci, to the medium is required for N.A.T. medium. The Tween® 80 may be added before sterilisation at a
concentration of 0.1%.
