Purpose of the processing of personal data
We only process personal data when we have legal basis to do so. The legal basis depends on the personal data concerned and the specific context in which we process it. Mainly personal data is processed for maintaining Labema Oy's customer relationship, processing orders, sending an electronic newsletter, customer and marketing communications and their allocation, as well as for statistical purposes and service development.Subscription to the newsletter can be unsubscribed at any time from the link found at the end of each newsletter.
Personal data may also be processed in connection with the preparation of a possible employment contract or in order to fulfil the employer's legal obligations.
Content of the register
Labema Oy processes personal data about registered customers only in relation to the registered company that the person represents. The register may contain the following information: the person's name, company, position, duties, email address, telephone number, company industry, company address, company billing address, subscriber service username and password and direct marketing authorization. In addition, the register may contain information provided by the customer at events or meetings, such as feedback, complaint, request for quotation. The register may contain information about the person's choices in the Services and use of the Services.
Labema Oy also processes basic job applicant information provided during recruitment such as name, date of birth, address and other contact information, work experience, training data and other free-form information provided by the applicant on their own initiative. Personal data concerning the applicant may also be obtained by third parties, such as referrals appointed by the person, direct search companies and personal hire service providers, and suitability assessment service providers.
Retention period of personal data
Personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy notice, as well as to comply with any other compelling legislation, such as accounting legislation.
Regular sources of information
The data in the register is obtained from customers after a customer relationship is established or when the customer creates the username to the subscriber service. Customer information can also be collected from events and exhibitions, as well as from publicly available internet sources.
Employee information is obtained in principle from the data subject himself or, with the consent of the person, from third parties in connection with the recruitment process.
Transfer or disclosure of data
Personal data will only be shared with appropriate and authorized third parties that comply with Labema Oy's privacy policies. Information may be disclosed to Labema Oy's subsidiaries or suppliers for the purpose of implementing the service, for example due to order delivery, product or device warranty, marketing or reporting. The controller shall ensure, by contractual arrangements, an adequate level of data protection of the recipient of the data. Labema Oy always uses appropriate transfer mechanisms and protection measures when personal data is processed and transferred.
Right to access information and deletion of data
In accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, you may have the right to access the personal data stored by Labema Oy and to require Labema Oy to correct inaccurate or incorrect personal data. In addition, in some circumstances, the data subject has the right to demand the deletion or restriction of processing of the data concerning himself or herself.
The request in this regard has to be sent in writing to Labema Oy's customer service at labema@labema.fi from the email address to which the attached information is to be viewed. The request has to be signed. Labema Oy will respond to requests in accordance with the Finnish Personal Data Act and Data Protection Act within two months of the request. You may have the right to request corrections to the stored data and to refuse electronic direct marketing by requesting this from Labema Oy's customer service labema@labema.fi or the register's contact person.
Data collected will be deleted at the end of the customer relationship.
Registry protection
The register is maintained using an electronic information system. Access to the system is protected by usernames and passwords. Access is granted to a person belonging to the controller's staff, whose duties are substantially related. Documents containing personal data that are processed manually, such as a contact form filled out in a transaction, will be kept in a locked state until the data is transferred to the electronic system.
Databases and their backups are firewall protected and located in locked spaces. The controller shall ensure that only those employees of the controller and employees of undertakings acting on behalf of the controller for whom it is necessary for the performance of their duties have access to the data.
